With over twenty years of experience in the telecommunications industry, John Davis has been involved in numerous areas of wireless telecommunications including land mobile, cellular, PCS, satellite and microwave. A graduate of Western Kentucky University, he began his career in broadcast engineering for radio and television stations in Kentucky and Tennessee.  He later joined Scientific-Atlanta deploying satellite earth stations for major television broadcast and cable networks. As Director of Engineering for VideoStar Connections, he developed satellite-based video and data conferencing networks and satellite uplink facilities for major television networks, corporations and special events worldwide.

In 1986, he joined BellSouth and held a number of positions in cellular and PCS Engineering, Operations, Technology Assessment, Product Development and management.

In 1996, he co-founded OpenLink Corporation and Radio Dynamics Consulting Corporation to provide microwave frequency coordination, spectrum management and consulting services. 

In 1998, he formed Global TeleWorks, LLC to provide consulting and management services.  His clients include wireless equipment manufacturers, engineering firms and major telecommunications companies.
